Iceland is a magical place! I visited in 2016 and took hundreds of photos, mostly of the beautiful landscape but many of everyday things like houses. Whenever I travel, I love to imagine how people live, where they shop, what their jobs are, and how they keep their homes. Despite (or because of) it’s simplicity, I was drawn to this house and my resulting original linocut print remains one of my favorites.
This original linocut print measures 9”x6”, with plenty of border for framing. It is printed on lightweight Japanese rice paper with black, water-soluble ink.
