This print is based on a dream. In many cultures, owls are connected to ancestors and are symbols of wisdom. In my dream, my ancestors appeared to me as an owl and gave me a key to open a box, long buried. This image has stuck with me for years and after a few different iterations, I finally made a print that reflects both the image and the feeling of the dream.
These original prints are created using a technique called block printing. Because of this hands-on process, each print is unique, and slight color or texture variation may occur. The finished print has a charm and a unique textured quality you won’t find with most mass production techniques.
I ship orders out 2-5 days after I receive them. Please keep in mind that orders to remote or rural areas within the United States may take longer than the 3-5 day average. I am currently only shipping within the US.
