This card features two mushrooms inspired by Amanita muscaria, a psychotropic/poisonous mushroom bearing a white-dotted red cap. These mushrooms are highly recognizable and are found in popular culture throughout the world (think Super Mario Bros. and the Smurfs) and are used as an intoxicant in some parts of the world. And isn’t love also intoxicating?
The card is an original linocut carved in a folk art style, handprinted onto 5”x7” kraft paper card, which can be mailed and/or framed. Blank inside. Stamped envelope is included.
